Welcome to 2026 – Starting Where We Are, With Hope and Purpose

Dear Parents,

I hope you and your family enjoyed a refreshing festive season and are stepping into 2026 with renewed hope and expectation.

As we begin this new year, I want to first express my deep gratitude for 2025. Despite its busyness and challenges, it was a year filled with growth, progress, and many quiet victories for our children. Thank you for your continued partnership through Edupalaver Solutions tutoring  and the Mighty Readers E book and Mentoring Club. Your commitment remains one of the greatest contributors to your child’s academic and all round success.

As we look ahead, I’m reminded of these powerful words by George Washington Carver: “Start where you are, with what you have. Make something of it and never be satisfied.”

This is a wonderful posture for 2026.

1. Begin with gratitude: Take time to acknowledge the blessings of 2025. Progress made, lessons learned, resilience built, and the people who supported your family along the way. Gratitude grounds us and gives clarity for what comes next.

2. Assess your critical relationships: Which relationships most supported your child’s learning, character, and confidence? Which partnerships strengthened your family? Intentionally nurture what was beneficial, and do not be afraid to minimise relationships that consistently drained rather than built.

3. Reflect on your daily activities: Which routines left you tired but fulfilled and refreshed? Which ones felt like a constant burden? This awareness is key to building healthier rhythms that support learning and wellbeing at home.

4. Plan to make a significant change: One intentional change can shift the direction of a whole year. A stronger routine, clearer boundaries, more consistent reading time, or renewed focus on academic goals. Small, deliberate steps matter.

As we move through 2026, I look forward to continuing this journey with you, supporting your family with purpose, passion, and practical guidance that helps children thrive.
